That’s why DataFirst designed File Library™ to preserve, manage and retrieve very large amounts of any kind of mission-critical data, copies of which can be maintained for decades. Our File Library™ HSM software is adaptable enough to controls multiple storage media (DVD, Blu-ray Disc, RAID) while flexible enough to expand to accommodate any growing data storage needs.
All DataFirst archival storage systems are built, tested, and burned-in at the DataFirst factory prior to delivery. The equipment is then packaged for shipping to the Customer site. A DataFirst engineer then travels to the Customer site to install the equipment and verifies that it is fully operational and ready for full-time use.

Whatever your business size or need, File Library™ systems can be tailored to match. What’s more, any system can be upgraded at any time to allow for increasing storage needs. Real-time systems store a High Water/Low Water cached copy of your data on spinning disk to optimize speed and performance for immediate access.

Data archiving can be scheduled at specific times to maximize network efficiency.
Security
Looking for maximum security? We can install archives off-site and enable you to connect remotely and securely. All File Library™ systems use a software hard-key system to ensure that the software does not get duplicated, stolen or re-used.
Redundancy
DataFirst can set up File Library™ to maintain multiple copies in parallel archives to ensure you never lose any data. Our Backup & Recovery options read data from media and can restore the system to a known state.
