President and CEO

Beau is an innovative and mission-driven leader with more than 30 years of Healthcare IT and entrepreneurial leadership. As DataFirst’s president and CEO, Beau is passionate about healthcare and focuses his team and the company on designing the platforms, technology, and solutions that transform healthcare ecosystems into highly efficient care delivery solutions. His commitment to innovate and transform has led Datafirst to becoming the leading provider of data migration and image interoperability services in healthcare today.

Prior to joining DataFirst, Beau served as Vice President at Philips Healthcare where he led the Cardiology Imaging and Informatic Solutions group for North America. Prior to Philips, Beau served as Director of Sales and Marketing at Witt Biomedical, a Cardiology Monitoring and Imaging company, where he managed the company’s product, marketing and sales strategy, until its acquisition by Philips in 2006.

Beau earned a Professional Bachelor of Architecture degree (B.Arch.) from Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture and Urban Design and attended the Kellogg School of Management Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern.

He is the founder of Nica Madera, a charitable organization that is breaking the cycle of chronic poverty in Nicaragua by partnering with local craftsmen to globally market and sell their products.

Beau lives in Raleigh NC with his wife and three children.
